In these unusual times, we are sad that we cannot welcome prospective families and their children to visit the school. Please do have a look at the video which the Reception team have put together - we hope it gives you a flavour of what a typical school day is like for your child in Reception. While we are a Catholic school and Catholic values are central to our daily school lives, it is not necessary for your child to be Catholic to attend our school.
Children made sistrums from natural materials found in the woods and local area. In small groups, they practised and then performed their choice of song/dance using the sistrums. These three have a great future ahead of them as a boy band!
This video was compiled over a number of days by the children in the KS2 Key Worker bubble. They wanted to make something to share with other children to show what St Mary's is like now and as a record of what school was like during the summer of 2020.
